HIGH CALIBER MIXED MARTIAL ARTS TO RETURN TO MAVERIK CENTER AS TOP PROSPECTS SHOWCASE THEIR TALENT IN A PREMIER REGIONAL EVENT
West Valley City – Pro MMA is back at Maverik Center on Saturday, February 27th! Will Power has 13 Professional bouts and 4 Amateur bouts and is shaping up to be an action-packed night of fights. The 155lb Champ of Utah, Bobby King, will face a very seasoned UFC and PFL veteran, Steven Siler. This will be King’s toughest challenge yet as this night will mark Siler’s 60th professional fight.
Fierce Fighting Championship: Will Power will be dedicated to our friend Will Farrar, the owner of Showdown Fights, who passed away in a tragic accident in 2016. Will put Utah MMA on the map with his spectacular Promotion and dedication to local fighters and the sport. Showdown provided an important steppingstone for fighters to advance to the UFC, Bellator, and PFL and was considered by many the Golden Age of MMA in Utah. “When we set out hosting events, it was always our intent to put shows together that Will would be proud of,” said President of Fierce Fighting Championships, Cody Bunderson. “With Maverik Center as our new home, we believe that we‘ve done just that.” We look forward to putting on the, arguably, best MMA fight card Utah has ever seen. Incredible matches along with a great environment will make for an action-packed night for everyone. The event will adhere strictly to all health department guidelines, including social distancing, and masks will be required for all audience members.
